Miss International 2018 is all set to crown a successor in just nine days and the pageant fans are way too excited to find out their new queen. The reigning Miss International Kevin Lilliana of Indonesia will crown her successor at the finale of Miss International 2018. With that in mind, another question that arises is if the current representative of Indonesia will be able to bring the crown back to her home and make it a consecutive win for the country in Miss International.

Vania Fitryanti Herlambang was crowned Miss International Indonesia 2018 at the finale night of Puteri Indonesia 2018 which was held on 9th March 2018 in Jakarta. At the national competition, she held the title of Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2018. She has graduated from the Bandung Institute of Technology where she holds a degree in Chemical Engineering. The 21-year-old Indonesian diva is definitely a worthy contestant for the coveted title.

With a belief in making a considerable change for women in the society which is predominantly male-oriented, Vania believes that every woman has her own way to establish herself in a male-dominated career. For her recognition is one of the most important things for women.

As she puts it beautifully, “I understand that some women - or most of them - are patient enough with ‘putting your head down and doing the work that will deserve to get recognized’, but as Nadya Fouad,  a counselling psychologist, professor and researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee says that it will be much better and comfortable to balance it by ‘lifting your head up to seek recognition for the work you’ve done’.”

Vania Fitryanti, in our opinion, can definitely be a strong competition for other delegates with her beauty, poise, charm and intelligence. She definitely has what it takes to be crowned Miss International 2018.

For Indonesia, to have a back to back win, Vania will have to surpass all the obstacles and prove herself as a front-runner in the competition.
