At the finale night of Puteri Indonesia, Miss International 2017 Kevin Lilliana passed over the reign and crown of Miss International Indonesia to a very beautiful and talented successor. Banten Vania Fitryanti won the Miss International Indonesia 2018 title, and the crowd showed her their acceptance by cheering as loud as they could.

Wilda Octaviana Situngkir is 19 years of age and is a student of Agribusiness at Panca Bakti University. This young queen has been a constant hard-worker and inspiration since her high school days. Having faced bullying in school, she didn’t let others deter her to choose the path of success. She went to become the chairman of her campus organization even when she was constantly ostracized by her fellow mates.

Vania Fitryanti will now represent the country at the Miss International 2017 pageant where Miss International 2017 Kevin Lilliana, her compatriot, will crown her successor.

The event was a mix of glamour and music, as performances kept intertwining with the various rounds of the main pageant.

At the same event , Bangka Belitung Sonia Fergina was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2018 succeeding Puteri Indonesia2017 Bunga Jelitha Ibrani, and Kalimantan Barat Wilda Octaviana Situngkir was crowned Miss Supranational Indonesia 2018 succeeding Miss Supranational Indonesia 2017 Karina Nadila.
