Kim Su-jin has been designated Miss International Korea 2022 and will now represent Korea at the upcoming edition of Miss International. Kim Su-jin is 25 years of age and a fashion design graduate and broadcaster from Daegu.
Not new to the pageant world, prior to being appointed as Miss International Korea 2022, she was adjudged as the first runner-up during Miss Korea 2021. She also just recently crowned her successor as she relinquished her reign as Miss Gyeongbuk 2021.
Korea debuted at Miss International in 1960 and is yet to win the coveted title. The country's highest placements so far were two first runners-up finished in 2000 and 2009.
The 60th Miss International edition will take place at the Tokyo Dome City Hall on Tuesday, 13th December 2022 following a 2-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
