Miss International Nepal 2017 Niti Shah is all set to engrave her country’s name on the title of Miss International 2017 today at the finale gala of Miss International 2017 but before that she has something to say on women’s education in her country.

During an interview round, when she asked about her country, she shared some really positive thoughts about the developing factor of Nepal. She shared that her country, Nepal is still counted in a developing nation and it is somewhere still behind in providing the basic rights of women, one such being education. Further, she stated that there is a bridge between the urban and rural sectors and to cover the gap between this these two, a woman has to help the other in Nepal. They have to become each other’s support.

During the national pageant, Miss Nepal 2017 held on 2nd June 2017, she was asked “In your opinion what role can a Woman play in the economic development of the country?” she said –

“What I believe is, a woman is the best creation of the god so far and for a woman, I believe that she should be accessed to education first and then given opportunities to any platform to show her abilities and to show her hidden talent. For me, we have a lot of women in government. We have a president; we have chief justice who is women. But I believe when a woman will be able to voice out in their houses that they want to move forward and be independent and to take her family forward, then I believe a woman will be able to take her society and nation as a whole and uplift the economy of the country.”
