The Señorita Panama organization and President, César Anel Rodríguez announced Valeria Franceschi as the official representative of the country for Miss International 2020. Valeria has succeeded Miss International Panama 2019 Betzaida Rodriguez for the title.

Valeria is 19-years-old and stands 184 cm tall and is a medical student at the University of Panama and in fourth year of Lyric Singing at the National Conservatory of Panama. She is excited to take over the crown duties as Miss International Panama 2020 and after being announced as the official representative of Panama, she took to her social media to express her sincere gratitude towards the organization and everyone who has supported her in her dreams.

Valeria wrote, “Before anything else, I want to thank God for always giving me so many blessings, I thank the organization for the wonderful opportunity to allow me to be an ambassador of the beauty and culture of Panamanian women in Miss International 2020. I feel great pride and emotion and I promise to give all of me to make an excellent representation of my beloved Panama.”

The diva started her beauty pageant career at the age of three as a model for various brands such as Fisher-Price, Mattel, Guess, Multiplaza, Dos Pinos, Claro, among others, and made it to her first Panama Fashion Week at the age of fourteen. Since then, the diva hasn’t stopped working and making a name for herself in the world. She is recognized as one of the national models with an international career. She began as Miss Teen Earth Costa Rica 2015 and next year participated in Miss Teen Beauty Panamá 2016 and impressed everyone with her confidence and beauty. In 2018, Valeria was crowned Miss Teenager Panamá 2018 and went on to participate in her first international platform in Miss Teen International 2018 and was awarded Miss Teenager Continents 2018 title.

She loves to play basketball, volleyball, flag futbol. She is the daughter of Miss Costa Rica Universe 1995 Beatriz Alvarado and niece of Miss Hispanidad Panama 1988 Itzel del Carmen Francesci González. Valeria is fluent in the English language and has started to prepare for the final event to be ready for whatever challenge comes her way.

With her experience and determination, Valeria can emerge as one of the strongest contenders for the title.
