At the Grand Orlando Resort at Celebration, the coronation night of Miss US International was held where Maritsa Platis was crowned Miss International USA 2020 and became the official representative of USA at Miss International 2020. She represented South Carolina at the national contest.

Maritsa bested 20 other candidates to win the national crown. She is a public health major from North Myrtle beach. Performing with absolute grace and dedication giving more than seventy interviews and doing 4 live shows, Maritsa took home the crown.

Maritsa is also involved with various organisations across South Carolina including the American Red Cross and Children’s Miracle Network. The stunning queen aspires to pursue a career as a Paediatric Neonatologist.

Miss US International 2020 Maritsa Platis’s court included -

1st Runner-up - Kelly Seibold (Southern States)

2nd Runner-up - Jamie Jackson (Michigan)

Also crowned at the coronation ceremony were Erika Anne Turner who won the Miss Landscapes USA 2020 crown while Caroline Dixon won the Miss Tourism US International 2020 crown.

Maritsa succeeds and was crowned by Miss US International 2019 Ghazal Gill who represented USA at Miss International 2019 but unfortunately failed to win a place in the Top 15.
