Andrea Rubio, representing Portuguesa, was crowned Miss International Venezuela 2022 at the finale of Miss Venezuela 2022 held on 16th November 2022 at the Poliedro de Caracas in Caracas, Venezuela. Andrea will represent Venezuela at the next edition of Miss International, i.e. miss International 2023.
Andrea is 23 years of age and holds a bachelor’s in social communication. She is a professional model and a digital content creator. Andrea considers perseverance as her strength and believes discipline is the bridge between goals and achievements.
Through her reign, Andrea wants to be able to teach all those women or girls who do not know how to take those first steps in modeling industry, who are full of doubts and fears and give them support and become in a guide.
On being asked how she would positively influence the people if she wins the crown, she quoted, “For me, being Miss Venezuela is not just being a beauty queen, it is representing and exalting what it is to be Venezuelan. A Venezuelan woman is a fighter, warm, intelligent and comprehensive. I don't want to be recognized only for being a beauty queen, I would like to be remembered as a woman capable of fighting for her dreams and fulfilling them, that she works to defend her ideals, her purposes and her goals. A woman who helps other women, motivates them to fall in love with themselves and to know how powerful we are.”
Andrea believes that the communication and words are a person’s strongest weapon. The lesson Andrea learned is never to let ourselves be influenced or manipulated by people who predispose you to feel or believe you are less. From her perspective, one can do what he wants, when he wants, if he wants to.
For Andrea, representing her country around the world and taking her message to thousands of people, developing herself effectively in her profession, being a great content creator and model, taking her knowledge through digital courses to many people, and expand her creativity in fashion, design and trends through her personal brand is of utmost importance. The greatest success for Andrea, however, is to have a united family, work on strengthening personal relationships, and have a life full of health and happiness which makes her a strong beauty queen.
