24 Aug 2018 | Camilla Suarez

Miss International Sierra Leone 2018 crowned Michaella Oladuni as its new queen recently as she became the third Miss International Sierra Leone. She will now represent Sierra Leone at Miss International 2018. She succeeds Miss International Sierra Leone 2017 Leone Abie Mansaray.

Michaella Oladuni had won the local title of Miss Kailahun 2018 before entering the competition. Michaella is from Freetown, Sierra Leone and she went to school in Royal Beckyln Academy from where she graduated in the year 2013. She is bilingual, as she can speak English as well as Krio, the latter being a Sierra Leonean Creole language. She is also a religious person.

Michaella is only the 3rd Miss International Sierra Leone as the country started participating in the Miss International pageant only 3 years ago. And the closest Sierra Leone has come to winning an award in Miss International was in the year 2016, the year they made their debut in the pageant, when Miss Sierra Leone 2016 Maseray Swarray won the award of Miss International Africa 2016, under the section of Continental Queens.

Miss International 2018 will be held in Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan on 9th November 2018. Miss International 2017 Kevin Liliana of Indonesia will be crowning her successor at the conclusion of the event.

We wish Michaella all the very best for her delegacy in the pageant.
