The 69th edition of Miss Kentucky USA was held on 25th February 2023 at The Center for Rural Development, Somerset, Pulaski County, Kentucky, United States where Madalyne Kinnett was crowned Miss Kentucky USA 2023. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Kentucky USA 2022 Lizzy Neutz and will represent Kentucky at Miss USA 2023.
Madalyne Kinnett gave a stellar performance at the state contest. She is a model by profession. The newly crowned Miss Kentucky USA 2023 Madalyne Kinnett’s court included –
1st Runner-up – Julia Long
2nd Runner-up – India Marks
Top 6 also included Kristen Bach, Sophia Baser, Carley Duncan while Top 16 also included Emma Simms, Rabiya Syed, Courtney Rager, Desiree Cross, Sydney Poor, Brooklyn Case, Gabrielle Norris, Katie Fawn, Rebecca Cook and Cadie Taylor (also won Miss Congeniality).
Also at the finale, MeShiya Bradshaw was crowned Miss Teen Kentucky USA 2023 as she became the official representative of Kentucky at Miss USA 2023. Reese Burt and Peyton Whitaker were adjudged first and second runners-up respectively.
Miss Kentucky USA 2022 Lizzy Neutz represented Kentucky at Miss USA 2022 but failed to place in the Top 16. Kentucky currently holds 2 Miss USA titles; Tara Conner won the Miss USA crown in 2006 and Elle Smith won the Miss USA crown in 2021 for Kentucky.
