The 62nd edition of Miss Korea will be held on 4th July 2018 at Jamsil Olympic Hall where eighteen semi-finalists will compete for the national crown. Miss Korea 2017 Cho Sewhee will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The winner of Miss Korea 2018 will represent her country at Miss Universe 2018.
The pageant also sends representatives to Miss Earth and Miss International pageants. 50 contestants were initially selected after a rigorous selection process. From fifty, the list was cut down to 32 and from that 18 semi-finalists were finalized to compete for the title.
