Miss Lebanon organization has always been crowning a beauty queen who is a perfect amalgamation of beauty with brains and hence has the potential of flying the Lebanese flag at the International stages of Miss Universe, Miss World, and Miss Earth. The 53rd edition of Miss Lebanon i.e. Miss Lebanon 2015 crowned Valerie Abou Charca who marked her excellence in the history of Miss Lebanon. The diva succeeded Miss Lebanon 2014 Saly Greige.
Valerie not only made a remarkable victory in Miss Lebanon 2015 but also managed to be placed in top 5 finalists in Miss World, thus becoming the most successful Miss Lebanon to represent her country at Miss World of all times.
Born in 1992, Valerie is one of the four daughters of her parents, Jihad and Gisele. She graduated from the Lebanese American University and majored in TV and Radio Studies. Hailing from the National Capital of Lebanon, Beirut, Valerie represented her province at the stage of Miss Lebanon 2015 where she was crowned as the winner by surpassing 13 other talented contestants who aimed for the title.
Her victory in Miss Lebanon 2015 gave her the opportunity to represent Lebanon in Miss World 2015 which she did later that year and became the first Lebanese contestant to be placed in the top five finalists. Along with that, she was also awarded the Best in Interview title, placed in the Top 5 for People’s Choice award and placed in Top 30 for Top Model Competition.
In August 2014, Valerie’s sister Justine met with an accident and unfortunately lost her ability to walk. Dedicating her victory to Justine, Valerie, during her reign as Miss Lebanon 2015, established a non-profit organization that aimed at helping, healing, and delivering hope to the patients who get affected by traumatic brain injuries.
After boasting her skills in pageantry, Charca turned the direction of her career towards her country’s entertainment industry. She is now a well-known Lebanese actor and has worked in several Lebanese films. She has also featured in various A listed magazines of her country and is one of the most popular Miss Lebanon winners. She possesses a beautiful enchanting personality that demands attention and with her grace and poise she has been stealing the hearts of the audience ever since she made her debut in pageantry.
Her stunning figure and adorable appearance gained her many awards including the coveted Global Beauties ‘Face of the Year’ award. The diva indeed has every trait necessary to be crowned and has always proven herself worthy of the titles and positions she got. Valerie always dreamed of becoming a TV artist thereby establishing her own production company that could break into Hollywood.
