The Miss Madagascar organization hosted the coronation ceremony for Miss Madagascar 2022 on Monday, 18th April, 2022 at Viva Arena Ivandry where Antsaly Rajoelina of Analamanga was crowned as Miss Madagascar 2022. She will now represent Madagascar at Miss World 2022. She bested eighteen candidates to claim the crown.

Antsaly Rajoelina graduated from Inscae and is fluent in 4 languages. She is also an athletic champion and stands at 173 cm tall. The 23 years old holds a diploma in Business Administration.

Miss Madagascar 2022 Antsaly Rajoelina’s court included –

1st runner up – Miss Fitovinany 2022 Lismonde Rabemananjara

2nd runner up – Miss Boeny 2022 Malalatiana Andriantsitohaina

Judges for the evening included – Christina Hassanaly, Director General MADA TURK, Ornella Elodie, responsible BWP Miss Madagascar, Catalya Brown, BG Company Manager and Stylist, Faratiana Randriamaro, regional manager of Miss Madagascar, Felana Tirindraza, Miss World Madagascar 2017 and Tanzia, Miss Madagascar 2012.

The candidates were judged by the jury of the competition on their presence during the parades during the evening as well as their ability to answer questions asked during the event. The Top 10 for the event included representatives of Alaotra Mangoro, Ihorombe, Diana, Analanjirofo, Androy, Analamanga, Boeny, the resemblance, Diaspora and Menabe.

Antsaly succeeded Miss Madagascar 2020 Nellie Anjaratiana for the title. Her advocacy is to raise the voice of victims and survivors of sexual abuse and contribute to the fight against it.
