Miss Malta 2020 held its coronation night yesterday, i.e. 28th February 2020 at MFCC where stunning beauties competed for the national crown and at the end of the event finale, Hannah Giacchino Miss St Julians 2020 was crowned the new queen. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Malta 2019 Alexia Tabone. The stunning beauty will now represent Malta in Miss Earth 2020.
Hannah represented St Julians at the national contest. She performed with absolute elegance and sincerity at the competition. For the last three years, Hannah has worked with kids as a learning support educator, better known as LSE. Her hobbies include singing, acting, travelling and now has added modelling to her list and wishes to work on it more in the future. As Miss Malta 2020, she wishes to focus on mental health awareness, a topic not so openly discussed. Following the motto of never giving up and through hard work and determination, Hannah surely proved her worth in the competition.
The first runner-up position at the contest was awarded to Natalya Galdes winning the title of Miss Republic of Malta 2020. The stunning beauty also gave a strong performance at the competition. Natalya is a travel addict and holds a degree in Human Resources and currently is employed in law sector.
The second runner-up position was taken by Amanda Bezzina who won the title of Miss Tourism Malta 2020. She held the title of Miss Qrendi 2020 as she participated in the national contest and surprised everyone with her charm, wit and elegance. Looking breath taking in her red evening gown as she received her title, it was another well-deserved win for the night.
Along with the winner and her court, the Top 6 included Miss Attard 19/20 - Nicole Agius, Miss Paola 19/20 - Stefanie Axisa and Miss Lija 19/20 - Rachel Camilleri. Along with these, a number of special awards were also presented at the coronation night –

The winner have received following prizes; Miss Malta 2020 has won a €1,500 cash prize, Miss Republic of Malta Winner has won €1,000 cash prize and Miss Tourism of Malta Winner has won €500 cash prize. The winners will also be competing in their respective international beauty pageants all fees and expenses paid by Borg Promotions with full year of sponsorship by different brands, several gifts given by different sponsors and full year taking part in several fashion shows and Photoshoots under Borg Promotions.
