The Miss Maurice organization has recently appointed Miss Maurice 2021 as the official representative of the country for Miss Supranational 2022. The organization took to their social media to announce, “The Miss Maurice Organization is pleased to announce that Miss Maurice 2021, Anne Murielle Ravina will represent Mauritius at the next edition of the prestigious Miss Supranational pageant which is scheduled in July 2022.”

Anne Murielle Ravina is 26 years-old and holds a degree in Political Science and is a Secondary School Educator teaching Art and Design. Not new to pageantry, she represented Mauritius at Miss World 2018 competition and placed among the Top. The diva also most recently represented the country at Miss Universe 2021 where her performance was highly appreciated but she finished unplaced.

She has been recognized in both Rodrigues and Mauritius for the various projects she manages including, ‘Stars Agency’, which looks after the youth; ‘Hers Rodriguez’, empowers women by giving them a voice against domestic violence and ‘Global Shapers Rodrigues’ is a global movement of young people, influencing positive changes through dialogue and action with the motto, ‘Shape Your Future’.

Maurielle also took to her social media to share her feelings, “I am honoured and extremely happy to announce that I will be the next Mauritian representative at the prestigious Miss Supranational Pageant scheduled in July 2022.” She shared, “I am thrilled to share the platform of Aspirational & Inspirational with Mister Maurice 2021 Jean-Laurent David, who will also compete at Mister Supranational at the same time with me. Thank you for your kindness and support. I am grateful to the Miss Maurice Organization for their trust in me.”

Murielle’s works and dedication have impressed so many people both nationally and internationally, that CNN TV Network has done a documentary on Anne Murielle as one of the most inspirational young women from the African continent. At the age of 12, she has lost her mom and moved with her grandma who is also her greatest role model. Understanding how life can change suddenly and the challenges it sometimes brings, Anne Murielle is determined to help others appreciate that hardships can be turned into blessings and is currently working in a college teaching Humanities, Arts and Designs.

“As part of my official duties as Miss Maurice, I travel to different countries during my year of reign to promote the Republic of Mauritius (including my beautiful native island of Rodrigues), promote the brand Mauritius, give a voice to charity organizations, endorse products for sponsors, and represent the essence of being a Mauritian, both nationally and internationally,” she added.

Congratulations queen!
