The 2023 edition of Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia has officially begun as the national organization revealed the Top 20 contestants who will be competing for the national crown. The organization crowns the representatives of Indonesia to Miss Grand International as well as Miss Face of Humanity. The coronation event will take place on Thursday, 8th June 2023 and will be broadcast on the Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia YouTube channel.

Andina Julie from South Sumatra is the current Miss Grand Indonesia 2022 and will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia was previously Miss Grand Indonesia which saw change in leadership in 2020 when Ivan Gunawan became the new president.
