Taylor Hale crowned Miss Michigan USA 2021 for Miss USA 2021

The organization of Miss Michigan USA hosted the coronation ceremony for Miss Michigan USA 2021 on 7th August 2021 at McMorran Theater, Port Huron, Michigan, where Taylor Mackenzie Dickens Hale of Detroit was crowned as the new queen. She succeeded Miss Michigan USA 2020, Jill Dobson. Taylor will now represent Michigan at Miss USA 2021 in November.

Miss Spirit of Detroit, Taylor is 26 years-old and attended The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., USA. She speaks fluent English and French and has also worked as an Essence magazine intern. Not new to pageantry, Taylor competed at Miss District of Columbia USA 2017. She finished in the Top 15. Miss Michigan USA 2021 Taylor Hale’s court includes:

First runner-up: Olivia Santelli

Second runner-up: Tamika Vantifflin

Third runner-up: Alexis Leigh Fagan

Fourth runner-up: Kayla Anderson

This year, Taylor had been a top contender and a fan favourite for the crown, since the beginning of the pageant and proved her worth during the finale event with her stellar performance. If Taylor wins, she will be the fourth Miss Michigan USA to represent the U.S. in Miss Universe following Carole Gist, Kenya Moore and Rima Fakih who were crowned Miss USA in 1990, 1993 and 2010, respectively.

 

 

Also, at the finale, Lake State Teen, Jada Moylan was crowned as Miss Michigan Teen USA 2021 and will now represent her state at Miss Teen USA 2021. Jada’s court included, Jada Camille Dudley, Beatrice Salazar, Resha Sheth and Emma Hahn, who were adjudged as the runner-ups.

Taylor Mackenzie Hale will represent the state of Michigan at Miss USA 2021 at the Paradise Cove Theater of River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA on 29th November 2021.
