At the conclusion of Miss Minnesota USA 2018 finale held at the Ames Center in Burnsville, Minnesota, Kalie Wright of Eagle Bend crowned as Miss Minnesota USA 2018 and she will now represent her state in Miss USA 2018 pageant expected to be held next year. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Minnesota USA 2017 Meridith Gould.
The beauty is 24 years of age and has completed her graduation from Blue Mountain Community College, College of Southern Idaho.
Kalie is not new to this world of pageantry as she earlier competed in various regional as well as state pageants. In 2013, she was crowned Miss Gate City and went on to compete in the Miss Idaho pageant where she finished as first runner-up. In 2014, she was invited to compete in the National Sweetheart pageant (regional pageant) and was crowned with that title. She was also crowned as Miss Idaho in 2015 and then went on to compete for the Miss America 2016 title in September 2015.
At the same event, Peyton Schroeder of Rosemount was crowned as Miss Minnesota Teen USA 2018 and she will now represent her state, Minnesota, in Miss Teen USA 2018.
