At the conclusion of the finale of Miss Mundo Argentina 2016 held on August 8’ 2016 at the Teatro City Center de Rosario in Santa Fe, Elena Roca was crowned as the winner. Elena succeeds Miss Mundo Argentina 2015 Daniela Miron, and will now represent Argentina at the Miss World 2016 pageant.

24 years old Elena is a model from Jujuy and holds a degree in journalism and communication. She battled out 23 other contestants to clinch the title of Miss Mundo Argentina 2016. She is not a newbie in the world of pageantry and was crowned Reina Nacional de los Estudiantes in 2007. She has also worked as a model for few years.
Elena Roca had already represented Argentina in the international final of Elite Model Look, which was held in China in 2009, where more than 65 countries participated. The Miss World Argentina pageant is based on four pillars - culture, talent, social responsibility and sport. During the finale, the delegates competed through various rounds including, evening gown, cocktail and national costume round.
Argentina has won the Miss World crown twice: first in 1960 with Norma Cappagli and second in 1978 with Silvana Suárez. Do you think Elena will win the third crown for the country this year at the Miss World 2016 pageant?
