The finale of Miss Mundo Chile 2022 (aka Miss World Chile) was held on Sunday, 16th October 2022 at Icon Hotel in the Las Condes district, Santiago where Ambar Zenteno, representing Las Condes, was crowned the new queen. Ambar will now represent Chile at Miss World 2022.
Ambar Zenteno is 27 years of age. She is an engineer by profession. Giving a stellar performance at the finale, Ambar also won the Popular Vote and Beauty with a Purpose award. Ambar Zenteno is an ambassador for Disautonomi´a Chile, an organization that raises awareness on autonomic nervous system called dysautonomia.
Also at the finale, Camila Vásquez of Santiago was adjudged as the first runner-up. She is a professional dancer who also won Miss Talent competition.
The Top 6 finalists and the winners of fast-track challenges were Sinaí Fardella of Molina (Popular Vote), Javiera Castro of Patagonia (Interview), Romina Vega of La Reina (Sports & Fitness), and Constanza Contreras of Chillán (Top Model).
Ambar Zenteno succeeds Miss Mundo Chile 2021 Carol Drpic. Carol represented Chile at Miss World 2021 and placed in the Top 40 with her stellar performance.
