Anabel Payano of Dominican Republic crowned The Miss Globe 2022

The coronation night of The Miss Globe 2022 was held on Saturday, 15th October 2022 at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Skanderberg Square, Tirana, Albania where Anabel Payano Pichardo of the Dominican Republic was crowned the new queen.

Anabel Payano is 19 years of age and a professional model. She beat 49 other contestants to win the coveted crown. On winning the international crown, Anabel took to her official social media as she wrote, “Writing how grateful and proud I feel will fall short. I am extremely proud to have raised my country, my people, my beautiful flag, it fills me with joy to have been part of this experience, where I met incredible people, whom today I can call sisters, different nationalities and the same goal, always I will carry them in my heart.”

At the end of the event finale, Anamaria Babau of the United Arab Emirates was adjudged as the first runner-up while Drita Ziri of Albania, Thanawan Wigg of Thailand, and Lam Thu Hong of Vietnam were adjudged as the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Top 15 semi-finalists also included Heloisa Godinho (Brazil), Sofia Donado (Colombia), Nella Cheves Serano (Costa Rica), Sirel Saad (Estonia), Prisca Abah (Ghana), Anastasija Aleksejevska (Latvia), Natasha Stefanovic (Montenegro), Chelsea Fernandez (Philippines), Patrycja Krzywon (Poland), and Argi Annisil (Venezuela).

 

 

Anabel Payano succeeds and was crowned by The Miss Globe 2021 Maureen Montagne of Philippines. This year’s edition was hosted by Albanian TV personality Arjola Shehu and organized by the Deliart Association.
