Miss Mundo Colombia 2018 aka Miss World Colombia 2018 is all set to host its grand finale on 11th August 2018 where twenty eight gorgeous ladies of Colombia will compete for the national title. The reigning Miss Mundo Colombia Maria Daza will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

As the national finale in underway, the organization has started to host its preliminary competitions as well as giving out special awards to the contestants. Let us take a look at the awards handed out so far –

Miss Mundo Sucre 2018 Shirley De La Ossa

Shirley’s social work with the 'Magic Dance' Foundation got recognition for the best project of Beauty with a Purpose. This Foundation seeks the empowerment of women since childhood, offering playful, cultural and entrepreneurial activities to enhance their personal and professional development. Likewise, Shirley also carries out work with girls with down syndrome, linking them to issues of natural resources and the importance of caring for the environment.
