Miss World Spain 2020 (aka Miss Mundo España 2020) is all set to host its coronation on 25th July 2020 in Oropesa del Mar and Marina D'or where stunning beauties from all over the country will vie for the national crown and the opportunity to represent Spain at Miss World 2020. Miss Word Spain 2019 Maria Del Mar Aguilera will crown her successor at the conclusion of the finale.
There will be five tests or pre-pageant competitions for the delegate to compete in including Best in National Costume, physical test, beauty with a purpose, social network and best in talent competition. These pre-pageant activities will be the base on which the delegates will be judged on.
We have selected the top 10 potential divas from the group who we think have the potential to win the title of Miss World Spain 2020 and represent the country at Miss World 2020 stage. Let’s look at the favorities.
Carmen Díaz is representing the province of Avila at the competition. She is 25-years-old and stands 170 cm tall. She has studied Technician in health emergencies and social integrator and currently works as Technician in health emergencies and a professional model. She feels proud to be able to represent her province, since it has given her the opportunity to fulfill one of her dreams. She explains, “I will do a job as impeccable as possible and I just hope that the people of Ávila, my family, friends and all those people who support me feel proud.” She is beautiful, confident, and determined to win which is why is she one of the favorites for the title.
Rubely Mejía is representing the province of Araba at the competition. She is 21-years-old and stands 178 cm tall. She is studying professional makeup, medium grade aesthetics and beauty and currently works as a model and a waitress. On asking about what would it mean to win the crown? Rubely mentioned, "It would be a dream come true. And more than a title, I would use it as a platform to give voice to people who do not have it and help those who need it.” Her career on the catwalks began when an agency representative noticed her while working as a makeup artist. From there she began to do sporadic work and move around the north to continue her passion.
Nerea Ponce is representing Cadiz at the competition. She is 19-years-old and stands 183 cm tall. She is ESO, Baccalaureate and works as a hostess and a professional model. She is dedicated and very strong who aspires to represent Spain at Miss World 2020 stage. She is very excited to meet all the delegates and learn new things from all of them.
Cárla Moro is representing Cantabria at the competition. She is 20-years-old and stands 166 cm tall. She is studying the Higher Degree in the Violin specialty in addition to the Professional Degree in the Piano. She works as a stewardess and teacher of private violin lessons. She describes winning the crown as, “The fact that you are going to become an example for girls is more than enough reason for these contests to evolve and look for a complete woman, with a good heart, rather than simply beauty. So, I consider it above all a responsibility.”
Susana Mayoral is representing Cáceres at the competition. She is 20-years-old and stands 174 cm tall. She is the student of Law and Administration and Public Management at the University of Extremadura. She started her career as a model at the age of 15 and after she met the fashion world, she "begin to trust herself and overcome bullying". She is beautiful and confident to win the title.
Oricia Dominguez is representing Guadalajara at the competition. She is 26-years-old and stands 174 cm tall. She has her Bachelor’s degree of Nursing, organizational coach and masters in fashion styling and audiovisual media at Vogue. She works as a personal image coach, freelance translator, and model currently who aspires to represent Spain at Miss World 2020 stage.
Desiree Brampton is representing Madrid at the competition. She is 21-years-old and stands 182 cm tall. She in the third year of her Psychology and Criminology and works as a model. Desiree aspires to be a beauty queen who is positive role model for the young girls who aspire to be beauty queens in future. She is passionate about music, art, creative writing, and fashion. She is beautiful and confident and works hard to be the best in her work.
Gema Torres is representing Palencia at the competition. She is 25-years-old and stands 172 cm tall. She earned her degree in Administration and finance and currently works as a makeup artist and advisor. She has been working very hard to give her best at the competition and she has mentioned, "In three words I can summarize everything I have learned in life: keep going." She is excited to represent her province at the competition and believes that she will be able to give her best.
Elisabeth Borne is representing Tarragona at the competition. She is 25-years-old and stands 174 cm tall. She has graduated in the field of music and business and has trained in classical singing in conservatory for six years. She is beautiful, confident, and determined that she will be able to impress the judges and audience at the competition and win the title and represent Spain at Miss World 2020 stage.
Rosa Nouvilas is representing the province of Valencia at the competition. She is 23-years-old and stands 176 cm tall. She has earned her degree in Law University Extension course on women's rights. She works as a professional model and is one of the strongest contenders for the title. Rosa after graduating, began to take an interest in environmental responsibility and collaborate with an Organization that does cleaning on the Valencian beaches. With a good cause to support her participation, her confidence with which she presents herself on the stage, her mesmerizing smile will all add to up her fierce persona as she will compete at Miss World Spain 2020.
