Miss Namibia 2018 will soon be crowning a queen, and the process has already reached the stage where the contestants have been announced, and the preliminary activities are about to start.
At the conclusion of the magnificent finale of Miss Namibia 2017, held on 1st July 2017, Suné January of Rehoboth was crowned as Miss Namibia 2017. Now, she will be completing her final duty as Miss Namibia 2017 by crowning Miss Namibia 2018 at the conclusion of the finale.
Namibia won its first and only Miss Universe crown in the year 1992 under the representation of Michelle McLean. However, the country is yet to win a Miss World crown.

Annually Miss Namibia Pageant celebrates beauty with a charitable cause by crowning one deserving young woman to carry the title of Miss Namibia.
This title initiates a drive to bring charity to the less-privileged; to promote deserving social causes; to be an example of purposeful living to the young and to bring honour and pride to the nation as an Ambassador of Namibia.
