The bar has been raised pretty high for these new finalists for the Miss Nepal 2018 contest. These girls will have some big shoes to fill, and it only means more hard work, and going through intensive preps. The girls have shown great enthusiasm so far, and have already been a part of the orientation.

Contestant number 9 Shikshya Sangroula is one of the 25 delegates who is going to compete for the coveted national title.

Shikshya is an independent girl who loves to help others and makes sure she accomplishes the goals that she has set in life. She has been working as a model since 2013. She has been involved in different fashion shows of Nepal such as TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2016, Classic Diamond TPJFS Season 4, she also worked as a TV Host for Kantipur and Hosted Liril Fresh Face season 3 and 4. One very interesting fact that makes her stand out of her fellow contestants is that she is a voice-over artist.

She is not new to the world of pageantry. She has won the titles of Little queen Biratnagar 2007, Little Queen Nepal 2007, Liril Fresh Face Season 2 (Winner), and Top 10 face of Classic Diamond 2017. Shikshya was the captain of her school and has always been equally good at sports and poetry. She was also awarded as the sports girl of the year in 2010 and secured the second position at Inter College Poetry Competition in 2012.

She has a Bachelor in Business Administration from Kathmandu University

Nepal participates in five major international pageants, Miss World, Miss Earth, Miss International, Miss Asia Pacific International, and Miss Intercontinental. The reigning queens who will be passing on their crowns to their successors are Miss World Nepal 2017 Nikita Chandak, Miss Earth Nepal 2017 Rojina Shrestha, Miss International Nepal 2017 Niti Shah, Miss Asia Pacific International Nepal 2017 Sahara Basnet, and Miss Universe Nepal 2017 Nagma Shrestha.
