Miss Nepal 2018 has announced its candidates for the grand event. The girls will be fighting head to head for the primary title of Miss World Nepal 2018, and four other titles.

Nepal participates in five major international pageants, Miss World, Miss Earth, Miss International, Miss Asia Pacific International, and Miss Intercontinental. The reigning queens are:

Miss World Nepal 2017- Nikita Chandak

Miss Earth Nepal 2017- Rojina Shrestha

Miss International Nepal 2017- Niti Shah

Miss Asia Pacific International Nepal 2017- Sahara Basnet

Miss Universe Nepal 2017- Nagma Shrestha

With its delegates showing extraordinary performance last year in international pageants, the bar has been raised pretty high for these new finalists for the Miss Nepal 2018 contest. These girls will have some big shoes to fill, and it only means more hard work, and going through intensive preps. The girls have shown great enthusiasm so far, and have already been a part of the orientation.

The orientation program was held on 23rd February 2018 where they got the chance to meet all their fellow candidates formally and also get acquainted. The orientation program was led by Rachana Gurung Sharma, the engine that keeps it running in the elegant cruise of Miss Nepal along with chairman Mr Gopal Sunder Lal Kakshapati. Rachana has been the trainer and choreographer of Miss Nepal pageant since two decades and she made the girls understand the things that will be expected from them in the 23rd edition of Miss Nepal.
