The moment Miss Nepal World 2018 crown was handed over to Shrinkhala Khatiwada was a moment loaded with immense pride as she was a favourite delegate since the beginning of the journey and proved her win right the same day itself. The diva is proving her ‘beauty with a purpose’ title right day by day as she has been working on her advocacies seriously.

But the beauty did not stop there, she continued working on her advocacies and is currently sailing in the same boat. A few weeks ago, she worked on the Health Post project for Chepang community in Kailash Rural Municipality.

Once again, this diva is walking on the same track as last week she went to Bara with her team for the final hygiene kit distribution for the affected families. She went to Feta, which is one of the most affected areas there. Her aim was to spread awareness about the do’s and don’t required and get rid of the mistakes that were made last time.

She took this to her official Instagram account where she uploaded a post and wrote, “Last week we went to Bara for the final hygiene kit distribution for the affected families. We went to Feta, one of the most affected areas there. It reminded us of Barpak after the earthquake of 2015. Army camps are already set for reconstruction. From what we learned; they already have all the immediate relief. The main question here is about infrastructure.”

“I have a suggestion for the reconstruction authority. Let's not repeat the mistakes we made during the earthquake. We don't want another concrete jungle there. Let's try our best to incorporate local architectural identity of the place, let's try to use local materials. We are nothing without identity and we'd surely like to preserve the essence of Terai in their new houses. Every challenge presents us with opportunities, let's use it timely and wisely.”
