Genesis Suero was crowned Miss USA New York 2018 on 14th January 2018 in the event held at The Performing Arts Centre in New York. Miss New York USA 2017 Hannah Lopa, looking ravishing in a silver gown, crowned her successor at the end of the event finale.
From Cypress Hills, Brooklyn Genesis Camila Suero is not new to the world of pageantry; she participated in Miss New York 2017 pageant and also went on to become a semi-finalist. Genesis took to her Instagram and posted a video to share her happiness with her followers. She excitedly expressed how her country America is the land of opportunities where dreams come true for everyone. Genesis conveyed her ideals to her fans and advised them to never give up on their dreams.
At the finale night, Saige Guerin was also crowned Miss New York Teen USA 2018 by her predecessor Miss New York Teen USA 2017 Isabella Griffith.
