A young enthusiast, focused and hardworking – these are definitely the words which can suitably describe our Miss Nicaragua 2018 contender. Daniela Garzón, the 23-year-old darling of the masses is a fighter and one of our favourites to win the national crown.

Miss Nicaragua 2018 is slated to take place on 24th April 2018 at the Rubén Darío National Theater at 7:30 PM where Miss Nicaragua 2017 Berenice Quezada will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The winner of Miss Nicaragua 2018 will get a chance to represent her country at the upcoming Miss Universe 2018.

After her participation and entering the pageant, Daniela has worked hard on her emotional quotient and knows that she should take risks and leave fears behind. During the finale, she only wishes to demonstrate her strength and focus on positive things like ‘winning the crown and enjoying every second on stage’.

Being Nicaraguan for the beauty "is a pride, because this land is full of kind, hardworking, honest and dignified people, proudly sheltering our blue and white flag."

With ‘My beauty my strength’ as this year’s motto, Daniela speaks, "as a woman, the strength with which I work to convert my dreams into goals is what makes me beautiful, being a brave, firm and determined woman gives me the beauty.”

Her love for her country knows no bounds. For Nicaragua she wishes to achieve better human development starting through education, since this is the fundamental basis for the development of the people and to work with care. She points out, “just this way we will achieve that our country will go ahead, contributing all our best efforts.”

Daniela’s long term vision in the professional capacity is to exercise her career successfully, with her own program on television and personally starting to form her own family.
