A determined woman who knows what she wants and fights for it, this 22-year-old civil engineering student is definitely giving a strong competition to her contenders since the beginning of the competition. Marlen Morales is one of ours favourites for the national crown.

Miss Nicaragua 2018 is slated to take place on 24th April 2018 at the Rubén Darío National Theater at 7:30 PM where Miss Nicaragua 2017 Berenice Quezada will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The winner of Miss Nicaragua 2018 will get a chance to represent her country at the upcoming Miss Universe 2018.

To Marlen, ‘My Beauty My Strength’ signifies, “that beyond how I am physically what really moves me is the quality of person that life has made me form, the different adversities make them my engine. And there is my strength and therefore my beauty."

Marlen has thought provoking views when it comes to her opinion on violence against women. She considers that it is a sensitive issue and that women do not have to suffer. “The worst mistake is to keep quiet and believe that we deserve that violence, we were born to be loved”, she responds.

Her love for her country is seen in her views where she talks about a nation that honors God, obeying each of its mandates because she has the conviction that everything is better at God's hand. She also believes that her country needs men and women who instill values ??in her generation and to be a prosperous nation one must obey and promote values.
