Miss Nicaragua 2018 is all set to organize its grand finale on 24th March 2018 at the Rubén Darío National Theater where the thirteen contestants will fight for the national crown to represent their country at Miss Universe 2018. Miss Nicaragua 2017 Berenice Quezada will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
Miss Nicaragua organised its official presentation where all the finalists were officially presented on 26th January 2018. The candidates opened the gala with the folk dance ‘Yo te Amo Nicaragua’. The event was organized at Hyatt Place Managua.
Miss Nicaragua Organization has been sharing particularities of each of their contestants on their social networks since their selection.
The official presentation took place between the awards ceremony for the two former Queens – Miss Nicaragua 2012 Farah Eslaquit and Miss Nicaragua 2017 Berenice Quezada.
In the second runway round, the contestants presented the outfits designed by Jared Bermúdez. All the divas looked out of the world in their two-piece glittering sheer outfits.

In an interesting turn of events, Miss Nicaragua 2012 Farah Eslaquit went barefoot to receive her recognition as her heels broke as soon as she climbed the stage. Being the true queen that she is, she did not hesitate for even a moment as she walked with confidence and elegance on stage.
Miss Nicaragua 2017 finalist Katering Medina also received a special mention for her outstanding work in the Miss Asia Pacific International 2017.
The contestants talked about women empowerment and the need to do social work out of conviction and not convenience. The finalists also covered grounds for bullying, gender equality, solidarity, machismo and the lack of values ??in society. This was the first time that the contestants sat on the stage to talk about these issues.
