Miss Nicaragua 2022, the 40th edition of Miss Nicaragua, will be held on 6th August 2022 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Convention Center, Managua. Allison Wassmer of Managua will crown her successor at the end of the event finale and the winner will represent Nicaragua at Miss Universe 2022.

Ten stunning delegates are vying for the national crown. While all these beauties look prepared to win, here are our favourites for Miss Nicaragua 2022 –

Gabriela Calix

Gabriela Calix, representing Cinco Pinos, is 26 years of age. She graduated with a bachelor’s in marketing at UCA, El Salvador. Gabriela grew up being a multifaceted and competitive girl as she liked to challenge herself. She has a lot of experience in competitions, winning Olympiads in Math, Spanish, beauty contests, declamation, drawing, debate, soccer championships, basketball among other things. With her strong oratory skills and stunning beauty, Calix is surely a strong contender for the crown.

Katherine Burgos

Katherine Burgos is 22 years of age, representing Tipitapa at the national pageant. An outgoing and funny person, Katherine loves to make other people smile. She holds a license in communication. The quote that resonates the most with her is, “The fullness is in finding happiness in the smallest and daily, being authentic and loyal to yourself.” Katherine is definitely a strong contender for this year’s crown, being a crowd favourite as well.

Norma Huembes Salazar

Norma Huembes, representing San Marcos Carazo, is 24 years of age. Norma believes being Miss Nicaragua means much more than wearing a beautiful crown and being beautiful, it’s a job that should be undertaken with a lot of respect, discipline, and love. At the recently concluded ‘Impact Women’ forum, Norma spoke about women who inspire the growth and daily struggle of women through their stories and actions. She is a woman of strong character and a mesmerizing smile.
