Albreuna Gonzaque crowned Miss Oklahoma USA 2021 for Miss USA 2021

The organization of Miss Oklahoma USA hosted the coronation for Miss Oklahoma USA 2021 on 5th June 2021 at Rose State College Hudiburg Center in Midwest City where Albreuna Gonzaque was crowned as the new queen at the end of the event finale. Albreuna succeeded Miss Oklahoma USA 2020 Mariah Davis who was adjudged as the second runner-up at Miss USA 2020. Albreuna will now prepare to represent Oklahoma at Miss USA 2021.

Hailing from Edmond, Albreuna is 27-years-old and stands 180 cm tall. She graduated with a degree in Mass Communication and media studies from the University of Central Oklahoma and worked as a social media coordinator at Remington Park Racetrack Casino.

First runner-up: Samone Thompson

Second runner-up: Tarren Land

Third runner-up: Paula Jewell

Fourth runner-up: Hannah Jones

After her crowning, the beauty queen took to her social media account to express her happiness and gratitude towards the organization and everyone who helped her throughout her journey, "I don’t have the words to express how I’m feeling right now. I’m still in shock, but this reality is slowly sinking in. I am grateful for the opportunity to represent the lovely state of Oklahoma. This is such a dream come true. To everyone who has stood by my side during this journey, THANK YOU! I could not have achieved this wonderful dream without my support system. To my family, thank you for encouraging me to continue after this crazy dream and pushing me to improve each day. Oklahoma, I’m so excited about being your Miss Oklahoma USA 2021 and I cannot wait to represent you on the Miss USA stage here in TULSA this coming November! Let’s go OKLAHOMA!!! "

 

 

The beauty queen is not new to the world of beauty pageants as she was adjudged as the third runner-up at Miss Oklahoma USA 2015, first runner-up at Miss Oklahoma USA 2106, first runner-up again at Miss Oklahoma USA 2017, first runner-up to Miss Oklahoma USA 2018 Cheyenne Darling and fourth runner-up at Miss Oklahoma USA 2020. Albreuna’s journey towards the crown clearly shows how much she wanted to win it and represent Oklahoma at Miss USA and potentially represent the USA at Miss Universe.

Albreuna owns' ‘Just Veg Kitchen’, which is based in Oklahoma City and was incorporated on 6th November 2020. The diva uses her social media to make an impact on society by normalizing and encouraging young people to be comfortable in their bodies. She shared, "IMPERFECTIONS are the marks of AUTHENTICITY. We all have something about our bodies that we wish we could change - whether it is wrinkles, stretch marks, or our size. I think that each "imperfection," tells a story about the beauty we hold inside. Love the skin you’re in and embrace every bit of your being. There is only one YOU. "

In her journey towards the crown, the diva feels blessed and grateful for all the opportunities that came her way and helped her to be strong, confident, and positive about herself and the work she was doing. Albreuna is dedicated, determined, and is focused on her goals in life, and is confident that she will perform her best at Miss USA 2021 to win the crown and represent the USA at Miss Universe 2021. In one of her posts, she shared, "I am resilient. I am magnetic. I am dynamic. I am flawed. I am still learning. I am still growing. I'm still here. I am ready to embrace this next chapter of life and all that it may bring!.”

Miss Teen Oklahoma USA 2021 was also held on the same night where Hunter Gorton was crowned the new queen. She will represent Oklahoma at Miss Teen USA 2021. Anna Lunday, Lauren Fisher, Isabella Davis was adjudged as the first, second, and third runners-up respectively at the end of the event finale.
