Miss Oklahoma USA 2022, the 65th edition of the state pageant, was held on 27th March 2022 at OCCC Performing Arts Center Theater, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States where Ashley Ehrhart was crowned the new queen. She succeeded and was crowned by Miss Oklahoma USA 2021 and will represent her state at Miss USA 2022.
Ashley Ehrhart bested fifteen other contestants to win the state crown. Ashley is a dancer for the National Basketball Association team Oklahoma City Thunder. She received an athletic track and field scholarship to attend Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas, USA. She attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas where she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology.
Not new to the pageantry, Ashley competed at Miss Arkansas 2017 where she placed second runner-up to Maggie Benton. She competed at Miss Oklahoma 2021 where she placed as the third runner-up. Ashley is 24 years of age. The newly crowned queen’s court includes –
1st Runner-up – Samone Thompson
2nd Runner-up – Audrey Harrah
3rd Runner-up - Sunny Day
4th Runner-up – Ashley Patel
Top 9 also included Kennedy Martin, Daraja Stewart, Isabella Gray and Cassidy Pickrell while Top 16 also included Olivia Woodrich, Macy Eminger, CiCi Long, Maggie Wilson, Hunter Fraley, Jesse Harris and Cortni Risley.
Also at the finale, Haleigh Hurst was crowned Miss Oklahoma Teen USA 2022 as she became the official representative of Oklahoma at Miss Teen USA 2022. Madeleine Durnin, O’Briona Wilkins, Delaney Walker and Sydney Massey were adjudged first, second, third and fourth runners-up respectively.
