At the event finale held at Margarida Schivazappa Theater, Ponnyk Torres was crowned Miss Pará Be Emotion 2018. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Para Be Emotion 2017 Stéfany Figueiredo.
Ponnyk Torres is now the official candidate of Miss Brasil Be Emotion 2018 aka Miss Universe Brazil 2018.The winner of the national pageant will represent Brazil at Miss Universe 2018.
From the municipality of Marabá, Ponnyk is a 26-year-old civil engineer. The Brazilian beauty also holds a post-graduate degree in Audit, Assessment and Engineering skills.
The dazzling model represented Maraba at Miss Para Be Emotion 2018. Out of the 22 candidates who participated in the regional competition, Ponnyk took home the state crown. She also took home a Chevrolet Onix Joy 0Km.
Fabricio Bezerra and Ana Paula Minerato hosted the competition giving words of encouragement to the contestants and making sure that the show runs as smooth as possible.
The reigning queen wore the state queen crown, inspired by the luxurious headdresses of the Kayapó tribes. The beautiful jewel is the creation of jewellery designer Gabriela Tannus.
The reigning Miss Brasil Be Emotion is Monalysa Alcântara who represented Brazil at Miss Universe in 2017. She will crown the winner of the national pageant on 19th May 2018.
