The organization of Miss Peru is all set to crown its representative to Miss Universe 2020 as the annual edition has begun with stunning ladies all over the country competing for the national crown. The winner will succeed and be crowned by Miss Universe Peru 2019 Kevin Riviera Kroll.

The organization decided to host virtual competitions for the contestants vying for Miss Peru 2020 and choose the potential ones who will move forward in the competition. The virtual competitions were held due to the spread of coronavirus in the country. The contestants go through various rounds and tests, presided by an accomplished panel of jury. The organization has announced the top 10 finalists for the competition who will move ahead and compete for the national title as well as an opportunity to represent Peru at Miss Universe 2020 stage.

One of the top 10 finalists will win the crown of Miss Peru 2020 and the remaining nine will automatically become challengers for Miss Peru 2021 and one of them will also go to N Latin American Universal 2020. The next litmus test for the Top 10 will be the interview in English with Miss Canada 2016 Sierra Bearchell.

Last year, Miss Universe Peru 2019 Kevin Riviera Kroll represented Peru at Miss Universe 2019 and with her incredible performance, she was placed in the Top 10 at the end of the event finale. Peru holds one Miss Universe crown under its belt.
