The organization of Ceská Miss announced that semi-final of the national beauty pageant i.e., Ceská Miss 2020 was held on 30th September 2020 at the NH Collection Hotel in Prague and the fourteen finalists were selected. The selected finalists were supposed to compete for the national title and an opportunity to represent Czech Republic at Miss Universe 2020 and the first runner-up would represent the country at Miss Earth 2020 stage. The organization also crowns a diva who would represent the country at Miss Global stage.
Due to the increasing cases of coronavirus in the country and across the world, the organization has decided to cancel the beauty pageant and the selected Top 14 delegates will compete for the Ceská Miss 2021 competition.
The business director of the Ceská Miss, Veronika Farárová had given a statement, "There will be no finals of the Ceská Miss 2020. The situation is not improving and the covid period is unfortunately destroying the lives of many people. We have therefore decided to dedicate the last months of this year to helping others and, of course, about government regulations, to organize the Czech Miss 2020 Charity Gala Evening in cooperation with the Dagmar and Václav Havel Vision 97 Foundation. We are really honoured that Mrs Havel will be part of the events we are planning. We will inform you soon about the date of the final of the Ceská Miss 2021, now it is a priority for us to dedicate our energy to those in need."
The organization mentioned that since only 10 people are allowed together at an event in Czech Republic, they have decided on cancelling the pageant for safety reasons. Any more details on who will represent the country at Miss Earth 2020, Miss Universe 2020 and Miss Global 2020 has not been announced yet.
The finalists selected for the Ceská Miss 2021 are Daniela Nemeckova´, Adela Navojova, Michaela Vlasa´kova´, Adela Stroffekova, Lucie Pejcochova´, Hana Dedkova, Karoli´na Smelkova´, Barbora Siva´kova´, Nata´lie Novosadova´, Luci Kudova´, Anna Benesov, Tess Lojkaskova, Klara Pavlikovaa, and Nela Slivkova. These stunning divas will now compete at Ceská Miss 2021 competition.
