Miss Philippines Earth 2018 is scheduled to take place on May 19, 2018, Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Philippines, at 7 pm. The country can’t hold its excitement as this pageant will decide the successor of the international winner Miss Earth 2017 and Miss Earth Philippines 2017 Karen Ibasco.
The Filipina beauty Miss Philippines Earth 2017 Karen Ibasco took the pageant world by a pleasant surprise when she emerged the winner of the Miss Earth contest last year. The Philippines good record at the Miss Earth pageant makes it even more important for the country to crown a well deserving candidate from the pool of contestants for the international platform.
The profiles of the candidates got an update on the official site, with their ‘Goddess’ avatars. The girls have been given titles, and have been a part of a photoshoot that justified their titles.
The representative of Fil-Comm of Rome, Italy, Silvia Celeste Cortesi was crowned the new Earth queen and took over Karen’s reign as Miss Philippines Earth 2018. Her court included Miss Philippines Air 2018 Zahra Bianca Saldua (Las Piñas City), Miss Philippines Water 2018 Berjayneth Chee (Balingasag, Misamis Oriental), Miss Philippines Fire 2018 Jean De Jesus (San Rafael, Bulacan), and Miss Philippines Eco-Tourism 2018 Halimatu Yushawu (Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay).
