The organization of Miss Planet Chile announced Keitlyn Bestard as the official Miss Planet Chile 2021 on 5th June 2021. The announcement was made via Miss Planet Chile’s official social media account and now Keitlyn will represent Chile at Miss Planet International 2021, scheduled to take place in November 2021 in Cambodia.

Miss Planet International is one of the competitions with the largest stages in the world and with a mission to preserve the beautiful planet. The beauty competition aims to crown a diva who truly believes and supports all causes related to conservation efforts being carried out by champions of the planet.

Keitlyn Bestard is a strong woman who believes in raising a voice for a cause she truly believes in and with the Miss Planet Chile 2021 title, she has a platform to voice her opinions and cause. She thanked everyone who helped her in her journey towards the crown. She wrote, "Although there have been challenges and a couple of difficulties too, I want to thank you for your friendship, your joy, your patience, and dedication to me. I swear that they have made this dream come true and in the best way.... I adore them; I will continue to give everything but everything to that little person who fulfilled my whims and made me feel more confident and see myself as more beautiful."

The diva states that it’s important to remember that we all have the potential and determination to fulfill our dreams. We just must find the right motivation and platform to make it happen. She feels honored and proud to be able to represent Chile at Miss Planet International 2021. She is a keen advocate of equality and believes that everyone should understand the true meaning of it.
