The grand coronation night of Miss Planet International 2019 recently took place on 1st March 2019 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The gala night witnessed thirty-nine delegates competing for the prestigious crown, out of which, Monique Best of South Africa was crowned the new queen.

Since the initial times of the journey of Miss Planet international 2019, Monique was a strong and confident delegate and her win now proved that it is a deserving win. The newly crowned queen, Monique Best is an aspired international model and actress. Moreover, her win did not only bring the pride to her but for the entire nation. The newly crowned queen’s court included -

First Runner-Up – Marisa Phonthirat representing Thailand

Second Runner-Up – Viviana Lin Winston representing Malaysia

Third Runner-Up – Nicole Cano representing Paraguay

Fourth Runner-Up – Krizia Nicole Apao Vargas representing Philippines

Fifth Runner-Up – Guzalaia Izmailova representing Russia

With the finale embarked and the accomplished panel of jury announced and welcomed cordially, the organization held a pretty fun gala night enjoyed thoroughly by the audience. They, then, briskly moved on to announce the Top 6 that moved forward in the competition- Malaysia, Philippines, Russia, Thailand, Paraguay and South Africa.

After announcing Top 6, the time arrived when everybody held their breaths as the beautiful diva Monique Best of South Africa wad adjudged the winner leaving Thailand to attain the runner-up position. Here is the crowning moment caught magnificently by the official photographers -   

Besides this, a number of special awards were handed out to the contestants of Miss Planet International 2019; Best in Swimsuit went to Nicole Cano of Paraguay, Miss Beautiful Body was awarded to Ivy Marani of Kenya, Miss Friendship was awarded to Janethe Ramirez of Mexico while Miss Popularity was won by Chisato Nagayasu of Japan and Best in National Costume was awarded to the host country’s delegate Rychamnan Kallyan.
