The finale of Miss Portuguesa 2022 took place on Sunday, 11th September 2022 at Casino Estoril in the Portuguese Riviera, Cascais where the representatives to Miss World 2022, Miss Supranational 2023 and Miss Grand International 2022 were crowned.

At the end of the event finale, Catarina Ferreira was crowned Miss Portuguesa 2022/ Miss World Portugal 2022 and will represent Portugal at the 71st Miss World. The date and venue of the international pageant is yet to be announced.

Catarina Ferreira was born and raised in Lisbon. She currently holds a degree in Languages and International Commerce and a master’s in marketing. At the age of 7, the stunning beauty moved to France with her family where she later graduated in Letters and International Commerce. In 2019, she decided to return to Portugal to study Marketing in the Masters.

The Portuguese beauty will surely be a strong contender for the international crown. Catarina succeeds and was crowned by Miss World Portugal 2021 Lidy Alves. Lidy represented Portugal at Miss World 2021 but remained unplaced.

Also at the end of the event finale, Elodie Lopes was crowned Miss Supranational Portugal 2022 as she will now represent her country at Miss Supranational 2023.

Sabrina Ribeiro was crowned Miss Grand Portugal 2022 as she became the official representative of the country at Miss Grand International 2022. Carolina Serra and Renata Ribeiro were adjudged as the first and second runners-up respectively.
