Miss Earth Portugal 2019 Meet The Contestants

Miss Queen Portugal 2018 (Miss Earth Portugal 2019) is in full roll, and the contestants are being slowly, but steadily, aannounced. So far the organization has made 33 of the contestants’ names familiar to the public, and has opened voting to find the national finalists. Only a few of these contestants will actually make to the finale stage as the national finalists of Miss Queen Portugal 2018, and will fight for the crown of Miss Earth Portugal 2019.

At the finale night of Miss Queen Portugal 2018 a new queen will be crowned, who will then represent Portugal at the Miss Earth 2019 competition, where the reigning Miss Earth 2018 (yet to be crowned) will crown her successor.

The new winner will succeed Miss Queen Portugal 2017 (Miss Earth Portugal 2018) Telma Madeira, who is yet to take part in the Miss Earth 2018 competition where Miss Earth 2017 Karen IBasco will crown her successor.

Miss Queen Portugal (Miss Earth Portugal) is an annual national beauty pageant held in Portugal to select representatives for Miss Earth and other international pageants. The pageant was officially held for the first time in 2013 at Caminha. Solange Duarte, from Ovar, was the first Beauty Queen ever elected by Miss Queen Portugal who succeeding Susana Nogueira as Miss Earth Portuguese representative. Susana Nogueira was nominated by Miss Queen Portugal Organizing Committee member, to represent Portugal at Miss Earth 2011. Susana made it to the Top 16 finalists in Miss Earth 2011.

Portugal did not participate at the Miss World 2012 and withdrew its name from the pageant due to some uncertain reasons. The main motto of the Miss Queen Portugal targets at environmental causes. The Miss Queen Portugal pageant is a search for the most beautiful women of Portugal to represent as a role model for preserving and restoring Mother Earth.
