Marilyn Château, the reigning Miss Ronde Nord Pas de Calais, has been crowned Miss Ronde France 2016 at an event held in Gravelines on January 23’ 2016.

The different segments of the pageant included an opening dance, talent and evening wear round. The pageant’s contestants comprised of plus size women who proved that beauty comes in all sizes and ages.

Marilyn Château represented her region, Nord Pas de Calais at the event. The 36-years-old lady is aveterinary nurse by profession. The pretty lady intends to use the title to change the image of women in front of the media panel, and fashion world… and says “plus size women are not different, they are differently beautiful and like to be sexy.”

At the same event, Mélissa Hoarau (Ile de France) was adjudged first runner-up, Sanaa Sihalathavong (Aquitaine) was titled second runner-up while, Hegelle Némouthé (Midi Pyrénées) finished as third runner-up.

Created by the Calaisien Thierry Frezard, Miss Ronde competition has been in existence since 2007.
