The Miss Rwanda organization hosted the coronation ceremony for the 2022 edition on 19th March 2022at Intare Conference Arena, Rusororo, where stunning delegates from all over the country competed for the national title. At the end of the event, Nshuti Muheto Divine was crowned as Miss Rwanda 2022 as she won the opportunity to represent Rwanda at the Miss World 2022.

Miss Rwanda 2022 Nshuti Muheto Divine’s court includes –

First runner-up - Maolithia Keza

Second runner-up - Darina Kayumba

The 19 year-old, high school graduate, Divine, took to her social media to share, “I’d like to take this time to thank God and my family and friends. Thank you guys for your support and for believing in me. It’s such a great honor to be trusted with the responsibility that comes with the crown!”                   

Miss Rwanda 2022 was crowned Miss Rwanda 2022 and received a brand new Hyundai Venue provided by Hyundai Rwanda, as well as a monthly facilitation of Rwf 800,000 from the Miss Rwanda organisation during her reign, as well as several other prizes from the organisers' partners. Her 'beauty with a purpose' project will also receive funding from Africa Improved Foods (AIF) Rwanda.

Meanwhile, several other positions were awarded among the 19 girls including Miss Photogenic Queen -Ndahiro Mugabekazi, Talent Winner - Amanda Saro, Sports winner - Marlene Uwimana, The Miss Popularity - Divine Nshuti Muheto, Miss Heritage - Kellia Ruzindana and Most Innovative Project - Jeannette Uwimana.

Nshuti succeeded Miss World Rwanda 2021 Naomie Nishimwe for the title, who represented Rwana at the recently concluded Miss World 2021 pagaent where she remained unplaced. Divine will now go ahead to prepare for her international stint at the Miss World 2022 pageant.
