Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the 3rd edition of the Miss Universe Philippines, will be held on 30th April 2022 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Meriam Campong has made it to the Top 50 at the national competition representing Bukidnon. Campong is a licensed professional teacher (LPT) from Kibawe, Bukidnon. She also works as a runway and print model.

Meriam is half-Manobo and half-Maguindanao and is no stranger to the world of beauty competitions. She was Miss Congeniality during Laga Ta Bukidnon Kaamulan 2017. She taught at Cultural Mission Academy in Kibawe.

She wants to empower and motivate others through her experience on the Miss Universe Philippines platform. She believes that it is not our differences that separate us but it is embracing who we are, what we are that truly binds us.
