Miss São Paulo BE Emotion 2018 was a great success as it crowned its all-new representative to fight for the national title of Miss Brasil BE Emotion 2018 aka Miss Universe Brazil 2018.
The winner of Miss Brasil BE Emotion 2018 will represent her country at Miss Universe 2018 where Demi-Leigh Nel Peters will crown her successor. The runner-up of the national pageant competes in Miss International pageant.
Paula Palhares, the 18-year-old student of Mechanical Engineering was crowned Miss São Paulo BE Emotion 2018. She represented Sumaré at the competition.

Just a few hours ago, right after her coronation, Paula took to her official Instagram account to thank everyone who supported her and express gratitude, “When you put a dream in the hands of God, all you have to do is trust! I gave my best in all the stages because there was a person I had to honor, that person is me. Thank you all the messages of affection that I am receiving, are many but I will try to the maximum answer everyone. HAVE A GREAT DAY.”
Cássio Reis along with Maria Eugênia Suconic hosted the grand finale of Miss São Paulo BE Emotion 2018. At the grand finale, Guariba, Santos, Sumaré, Promissão and Itararé were presented as the Top 5. Just as everyone rooted for their favourite contestants, the top 3 were announced - Santos, Sumaré and Guariba.
