Miss Scotland 2018 is in full swing with its contestants being recently revealed. The coronation night of the competition will be held on June 15th at the Corinthian Club in Glasgow, where Miss Scotland 2017 Romy McCahill will crown her successor.

However, it remains very important for the audiences to know the finalists before they can choose their favourites, and the Miss Scotland organization is helping us with it. They have revealed information about the finalists, that you might find quite enticing.

So let’s find out more about Chelsie Allison from Inverness, without further ado.

Chelsie's charity is the Highland Hospice cancer charity centre which aims to support people, their families and careers, living with a developing, life shortening illness in the Highlands. The staff are able to deliver services to the Inpatient Unit and Day Therapy Centres, in local hospitals and care homes as well as at home, where they also seek to provide their patients and loved ones with respect, dignity and choice both during the patient’s illness and into bereavement.

Chelsie choose this charity as it is very close to her & her families hearts. Around 5 years ago her Great Grandmother passed away from pancreatic cancer. A few weeks before she passed, she was taken into the hospice where she was able to live the last of her life to the fullest. She was provided with the highest level of care and through that Chelsie's family believed she passed in the most peaceful way possible.

The staff also cared for the family after her Great Grans passing, where they made sure to support the family during bereavement. As a family, they still hold the charity very close to their hearts, which is the reason why every charity event they host, the proceeds go to the highland hospice.

In choosing a cancer charity Chelsie hopes to bring awareness to cancer overall, there are so many types of cancers out there that affect children & adults every day & nowadays almost every single person knows someone affected by cancer in some way.

Over the course of Miss Scotland, she hopes to host several charity events in support of the highland hospice, where she will be doing various events, with numerous businesses in Inverness already showing their support and getting on board, including a cocktail bar naming one of their cocktails after Chelsie. And a major supermarket offering their help too. Other ideas such as raffles, fashion shows, cycles and collections are in the pipeline over the next few months.

Chelsie has done some truly phenomenal work and seems to have genuinely great ideas for the future. Will Chelsie be becoming your favourite Miss Scotland 2018 finalists soon?
