The finale of Miss Singapore International 2017 held on July 12’ 2017 at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. The event concluded with the crowning of June Oh as the winner. June Oh succeeds Wang Huiqi and will now represent Singapore at the Miss International 2017 pageant. The event was graced by the reigning Miss Supranational Srinidhi Shetty.

The young and beautiful June Oh battled out 10 other contestants to clinch the coveted title. At the same event, Lynn Teo was crowned as Miss Supranational Singapore 2017, Lynette Chua was crowned as Miss Asia Pacific International Singapore, Janice Sia was crowned as Miss Tourism Queen of the Year Singapore, Kylie Yeo was titled as 1st runner-up and Michelle Tay was adjudged as the 2nd runner-up.

June will now have the responsibility to not only perform well at the Miss International 2017 pageant, but to also make Singapore proud of her achievements.

In the 56 years history of Miss International pageant, only two Singaporean women have managed to enter the league of semi finalists, which was in the year 1960 and 1980. Singapore has been one of the committed countries at the Miss International pageant, having sent a delegate every year to the internationals since the year 1972.

Do you think June Oh has what it takes to be the next Miss International?
