The glorious gala of Miss Mundo Brasil 2017 culminated with the crowning of Gabrielle Vilela from Rio de Janeiro as the winner of Miss Mundo Brasil 2017. Gabrielle was crowned by the outgoing queen Beatrice Fontoura. Gabrielle will now compete at Miss World 2017 slated to be held on 18th November 2017
Gabriella defeated 41 other delegates to clinch the coveted crown of Miss Mundo Brasil 2017. At the same competition, Bárbara Reis from Mato Grosso finished as the first runner-up and Júlia Horta from Zona da Mata (Minas Gerais) finished as the Second Runner up. Bárbara Reis was also awarded Miss Elegance special award at the competition and Carolina Schüler was awarded Miss Sympathy.
This year the pageant saw the finalists of Miss Mundo Brasil 2017 taking part in various Beauty with a Purpose programs. Several states and regions also had their local candidates taking part in the project. Brazil has always ensured to take its Beauty with a Purpose projects seriously.
At the opening of the event, Miss Mundo Brasil 2017 organizers picked out the Top 3 “Beauty With a Purpose” finalists who were:
