Miss World Slovenia 2016 is on the road to the finale and is scheduled to be held on September 8’ 2016 at Atlantis Water Park. The winner of Miss World Slovenia 2016 will represent Slovenia at the Miss World 2016 pageant. The reigning Miss World Slovenia is Mateja Kociper.

Mateja Kociper was crowned as the Miss Slovenia 2015 (Miss Slovenia World 2015) at the finals held on September 10’ 2015. Mateja studied telecommunications and defines the perfect Slovenian beauty. Vesna Music of Velenje was the first Miss Slovenia, however, she didn’t compete at the Miss World pageant.

This year, a total of 12 beauties will be competing for the coveted title of Miss World Slovenia 2016. The twelve stunning beauties of Miss Slovenia 2016 are Ana Kondic, Alena Music, Lana Potocnik, Sandra Zulic, Envera Becirovic, Katarina Brencic, Maja Taradi, Danaja Plohl, Tamara Vidmar, Katja Hotko, Iris Prošic, and Urška Grcar.

The Miss World 2016 is slated to be held on 20th December at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in the city of Washington DC, capital of the United States. Contestants from around 130 countries and autonomous territories will compete for the prestigious title. At the end of the event, Miss World 2015 Mireia Lalaguna of Spain will pass her reign and crown to her successor.
