Slovakia’s hopefuls alongside their current title holder star in the latest music video of one of Slovakia’s most celebrated musicians, released earlier this week!

Hello, the latest single by ‘Cesko Slovenská SuperStar’ finalist Celeste Buckingham, was released on the 1st March, and the contestants of the 2016 edition of Miss Slovensko were all drafted in to bring life to the party scene depicted in the music video!

Reigning Miss Slovenko Lujza Straková also makes an appearance, and can be seen as one of two characters flanking the singer as she enters the party.

‘SuperStar’, previously known as Cesko Slovenská SuperStar, is a joint Czech and Slovak version of the Idol series' Pop Idol. It was merged from Cesko hledá SuperStar and Slovensko hladá SuperStar, which previously had three individual sessions each.

The first season premiered in September 2009 with castings held in Prague, Brno, Bratislava and Košice. It broadcasts on TV Nova in the Czech Republic and on Markíza in Slovakia, which have also been the broadcast stations for the individual seasons.

Season 4 will start on Czech TV Nova and slovak TV Markíza in autumn 2015. The Judges will be Ondrej Soukup, Marta Jandová, Klára Vytisková and slovak singer Palo Habera. Moderator is Martin "Pyco" Rausch. Eight contestants made it to the finals.

Director of the prestigious beauty contest ‘Miss Slovakia’, Carolina Chomisteková, recently announced the finalists who will participate at the pageant slated to be held on April 29 and the winner will be honoured with the title of Miss Slovakia 2016.
